The next year, we found a leopard costume for her. She loved cats at that point, and the costume was very similar to my very first Halloween costume.
We were Brangelina at a costume party. We won a Chia pet as a prize.
We must not have done anything for Halloween the next year. I know we didn't trick or treat, and I can't find any photos.
Here she is at a Halloween party at age 3...
She's Tinker Bell holding a Care Bear at the middle left.
At age 4, she was Hello Kitty.
She was content trick-or-treating at only a few houses. When we got home, she made this "decoration" with most of her candy. We kept it around for weeks before throwing it out mostly uneaten.
The year 2010 was THE year of Hello Kitty for Quinn She was into her enough to make lots of decorations in the Hello Kitty theme...
This year, she wanted to have a party. We invited Alex and her family over for some festive food before trick or treating...veggie kitty with bean dip head and sunflower seed dip "milk", apple with a pumpkin and cashew dip, and mummy mini pizzas.
Quinn was Princess Snow Pea, inspired by the video game Plants vs. Zombies. Alex was a ballerina kitty.
Matthew dressed as a zombie for Quinn's pleasure.
The weather was fairly warm for us this year, and Quinn was really excited about getting "tons" of candy. We trick-or-treated around probably 4 blocks, and Quinn was much more brave about approaching spooky houses than in the past. That's significant, because she's generally spooked enough to avoid most stores in October due to all of the Halloween decorations. When we were on our way back and about a half block from home, she got really upset about losing a bracelet. I carried her the rest of the way home. The next day when I asked if she wanted to walk around to try to find her bracelet, she wasn't interested saying that she had another one almost the same. She is already thinking about costumes and party ideas for next year.
